We are looking for an enterprising and efficient Store Manager to head up our retail team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day functions of a retail store while also training and supervising employees, monitoring inventory levels and employee performance, and developing customer relations.

Responsibilities:

• Motivate staff to perform at a high level of efficiency and professionalism.
• Plan, direct, and coordinate the sales functions, merchandising, and operations of a retail store or sales department in order to maximize profit and product sales volume.
• Manage the flow of goods through the store.
• Oversee staff training and development to ensure that employees are well trained for the job.
• Coordinate sales promotions with advertising department.
• Hire, train, schedule staff; resolve problems and make decisions in line with company policy.
• Trim expenses by keeping inventory levels at minimum necessary levels; monitor inventory records; track costs.
